Project Manager

Our clients are primarily major brands, ad agencies and large media companies that want to leverage the social networks. We need experienced Project Managers to help us get it done for our clients.
Position Overview
Buddy Media is looking for experienced Project Managers who can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while supporting business initiatives with a wide variety of technology solutions. A passion for social media is a must. This is a "hands on" management role which requires the ability to work in various capacities within the department ranging from Analyst to Project Manager to Account Manager.
We are looking for candidates with a scrappy get-it-done attitude and strong technical, communication, problem-solving and organization skills. Interested candidates must submit a resume to be considered, willing to travel, willing to work overtime and weekends with short notice, and willing to work in New York.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage vendor relationships
- Define and manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables
- Work closely with clients to establish priorities and timelines
- Assume role of Analyst, Project Leader and/or Account Manager as needed
- Manage hardware and software upgrades
- Participate in annual performance reviews
- Provide regular group and project status reports
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has the following:
- Minimum 4 years IT experience
- Minimum 2 years digital media experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or computer related degree
